Well that struck a bit close to home. Music has always given me the feels and honestly I have struggled with listening to any since my life changed in December. I have a tiny window of music that is on my safe list and not one of those songs is on it. That didn't stop me from listening though. Thanks for the show.
Thanks Candice... I found the expression somewhat cathartic if not serving any other practical purpose in dissuading my occasional "what I've missed" reverie.
An episode with all 3 items in the title of the podcast, truly. Thanks for sharing Anth. For me, you knocked another one out of the park with this visit. To some, maybe even you at first, this may sound self indulgent or "woe is me" -ish. But what this visit exemplifies very well is how you recognized your feelings accepted them, allowed yourself to have them, then stepped back to see why you felt this way. A great example of (in my professional opinion as a set designer) of cognitive behaviour and an approach at good mental health. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Doug... it's always a question for me as to whether anyone will give a shit about hyper-personal stuff like this. Perhaps that's why I buffered it with music. The personal podcasts often walk a fine line between enjoyment and annoyment... is that even a word?
