I lament the death of the disc, just as I lamented the death of the LP, just as I lamented the death of the EP. I even miss 45s. I just appreciate the music more when I can hold onto it: I like reading the liner notes; I like looking at the pictures of the artists; I even like reading the dedications. I am old fashioned, I guess.
