It's amazing how a 10 minute short film about a guy and a girl and motorized vehicles that don't change into Autobots can be infinitely more entertaining than Transformers 2.
Here's another great reason to go to Vimeo. If you're guitarist or just love music, put an hour aside from American Midol and check out this doc on the classic Cry Baby Wah pedal. Be smart though, and clickthrough to watch it in fullscreen HD.

I love stop-action animation done well and both of these short films fit the bill. I marvel at the planning and work that went into making both of these. They almost look like tilt-shift.Kudos!
We've all seen stop-action Lego parodies, but this is different. Not only is there an amazing narrative told through the pieces and sounds, but a contrasting first and second half shows the impact that colour alone has on narrative. Even if it's simply the colour of plastic rectangular blocks.
A further ponderance on the |: repeat :| series of lovehate podcasts considering why we choose to return to the same old content, or, in some cases, why we might not.
I'm glad that I watched the short animated film JAM as I thought it was really cool. I'm extremely glad it was under three minutes long as I felt like I was under the effect of some strong hallucinogens after the first minute or so.
The opening 20 seconds kind of reminds me of Larry Marder's Beanworld Chow. I don't know that this is for everyone, but if you want to test your faculties, it's certainly fun.
