What a crazy juxtaposition that works. Some 100 volunteers put together this 8 minute stop-action masterpiece of the story of Oedipus as characterized by vegetables. I don't know what else to say - beets me!
This has always been one of my fav Sesame Street parodies. I love when they bring up the sound of screaming girls in the background. This is so awesome in so many ways. Give it a shot, especially if you're a Beatles fan. You'll "B" glad you did!
You know what? I've given up on Saturday Night Live for my parody and satire. I'm turning to Sesame Street from now on. Sure it may be skewed to children, but at least I expect it. SNL, who should be trying to skew towards me, ends up hitting the lowest common denominator which is far below children and, most often, insulting. If you're a fan of Mad Men - enjoy!
Instead of going to the Apple Developer's Conference today, I went to the Dairy Food Expo, and, while nowhere near as chic or glamorous, the announcements about Cheese 2.0 and the new models of the iCheddar were something to behold.
Spent a couple of evening's mashing up this video to an old parody song I've had lying around for years. Mashup includes a karaoke mp3 of Jethro Tull's "Aqualung", my words and vocals, and a strange mix of pics from around the web.
